Your message goes to info@fxup.net and we reply within one business day, in the language you write in. - [FAQ](https://fxup.net/faq/): This MT5 broker FAQ answers the common questions about starting or upgrading a forex brokerage on MetaTrader 5: how a grey label and a white label differ, whether MT4 is still available, what an own MT5 licence involves, how the WebTrader, apps and CRM work, how liquidity is connected, what drives costs and timelines, and where regulation applies. ## Platform - [Services](https://fxup.net/services/): FXUP provides broker technology services for forex and CFD brokers on MetaTrader 5: grey label and white label setups, a branded WebTrader, iOS and Android trading apps, a broker CRM, liquidity provider and bridge integration, copy trading and PAMM, prop trading technology, MT4 to MT5 migration, custom integrations and licensing support. Each project is scoped and quoted individually. - [Branded WebTrader](https://fxup.net/branded-webtrader/): A branded WebTrader is a browser trading terminal that runs on the broker’s own domain under the broker’s name while placing trades on a MetaTrader 5 server. FXUP’s branded WebTrader uses a Flutter front end and a Go back end connected through the MetaTrader 5 Web API, ships in English, Turkish and Arabic, and can be tested live at web.fxup.net. - [Mobile Trading App](https://fxup.net/forex-mobile-trading-app/): A white label forex mobile trading app is an iOS and Android app carrying the broker’s brand that trades on the broker’s MetaTrader 5 server. FXUP’s app is built in Flutter, connects through a Go back end to MT5, ships in English, Turkish and Arabic, and is publishable on the App Store and Google Play under the broker’s own developer accounts. - [Forex CRM](https://fxup.net/forex-crm-software/): Forex CRM software is the back-office system a forex or CFD broker uses to register clients, run KYC and AML checks, process deposits and withdrawals, pay introducing broker commissions and keep client accounts in sync with the MetaTrader 5 server through MetaQuotes’ Manager or Web API. FXUP has its own MT5-connected CRM and also works with partner CRMs, proposing whichever fits. - [Custom Integrations](https://fxup.net/services/integrations/): Custom integrations for MT5 brokers are the pieces of software that connect a MetaTrader 5 server to everything around it: the CRM, payment providers, KYC and AML vendors, liquidity bridges, market data feeds and the broker’s own systems. FXUP builds them on MetaQuotes’ Web and Manager APIs and on each vendor’s own API and webhooks, with every event logged and applied exactly once. - [White Label Trading Platform](https://fxup.net/white-label-trading-platform/): A white label trading platform is trading software built and run by a technology provider that a broker launches under its own name, logo and domain. FXUP’s white label trading platform combines a branded WebTrader, iOS and Android apps and a broker CRM, connected to MetaTrader 5 through a grey label, a white label or the broker’s own MT5 licence. - [Copy Trading](https://fxup.net/copy-trading-platform/): An MT5 copy trading platform for brokers is software connected to your MetaTrader 5 server that lets clients follow strategy providers: each trade on a master account is reproduced on follower accounts in proportion to their equity or a set multiplier, with fees, risk limits and statements handled by the broker. It runs under your brand on the WebTrader, apps and client portal. - [Prop Trading Technology](https://fxup.net/prop-trading-technology/): Prop trading technology is the software a proprietary trading firm uses to sell evaluations, run challenge accounts on a trading platform such as MetaTrader 5, enforce rules like daily loss and maximum drawdown in real time, and pay funded traders. It combines a challenge and rule engine, a trader dashboard, a CRM with KYC and payments, risk monitoring and payout workflows, connected to MT5 through its APIs. - [Liquidity Integration](https://fxup.net/forex-liquidity-provider-integration/): Forex liquidity provider integration is the work of connecting a broker’s MetaTrader 5 server to one or more liquidity providers so that prices stream in and client orders can be hedged out. On MT5 this is done through a native gateway, a third-party bridge or MetaQuotes’ Ultency engine, followed by symbol mapping, routing rules and reconciliation. ## Glossary - [Glossary](https://fxup.net/glossary/): This forex broker glossary defines the terms that come up when you launch or run a forex or CFD brokerage on MetaTrader 5: launch models such as grey label and white label, execution terms such as A-book and B-book, liquidity, back-office systems like the CRM, compliance terms such as KYC/AML, and distribution models such as introducing brokers and PAMM accounts. - [A-Book / B-Book](https://fxup.net/glossary/a-book-b-book/): A-book and B-book execution describe where a broker sends client trades. In the A-book the broker passes orders to a liquidity provider and earns from spread mark-up or commission. In the B-book the broker keeps the trade in-house and takes the opposite side, so client losses are broker revenue and client profits are broker costs. Most brokers run a hybrid of the two. - [CFD Trading](https://fxup.net/glossary/cfd-trading/): CFD trading is trading contracts for difference: agreements between a client and a broker to exchange the change in price of an underlying asset, such as a currency pair, index, commodity or share, without the client owning it. Positions are opened on margin, so gains and losses are magnified. In the EU and UK, retail CFDs carry leverage caps, margin close-out and negative balance protection. - [Forex CRM](https://fxup.net/glossary/forex-crm/): A forex CRM is the back-office system a forex or CFD broker uses to manage clients from registration to withdrawal. It handles sign-up, KYC documents, the client portal, deposits and withdrawals, introducing broker commissions and reporting, and it creates and updates trading accounts on the MT5 server through MetaQuotes’ APIs. Unlike a generic sales CRM, it is wired into the trading platform and payments. - [Grey Label Brokerage](https://fxup.net/glossary/grey-label-brokerage/): A grey label brokerage is a brokerage set up inside another company’s licensed MetaTrader 5 server: you get your own client groups and your brand on the WebTrader, mobile apps, CRM and client portal, while the MT5 server licence stays with the provider. Grey label is an industry term, not a MetaQuotes product, and it does not replace a financial licence. - [Introducing Broker](https://fxup.net/glossary/introducing-broker/): An introducing broker (IB) is a person or company that refers clients to a forex or CFD broker in exchange for a commission, usually a rebate per lot traded or a share of the spread. The IB does not hold client money or execute trades; the broker does. Many IBs later launch their own brand through an MT5 grey label once their client base is large enough. - [KYC/AML Compliance](https://fxup.net/glossary/kyc-aml-compliance/): KYC/AML compliance is the set of checks a broker runs to know its customers (KYC) and prevent money laundering and terrorist financing (AML). It covers identifying and verifying each client, understanding the purpose of the relationship, checking beneficial owners of companies, screening against sanctions and politically exposed person lists, monitoring transactions over time and keeping records for regulators. - [Liquidity Provider](https://fxup.net/glossary/liquidity-provider/): A liquidity provider (LP) is a bank, non-bank market maker or prime-of-prime firm that streams buy and sell prices to a broker and fills the trades the broker passes on. Forex and CFD brokers connect to LPs through a bridge, gateway or aggregation engine on MT5, use the LP’s prices for their symbols and offset some or all client exposure with it. - [Main Label (MT5)](https://fxup.net/glossary/main-label/): A main label (MT5) is the company that holds a MetaTrader 5 server licence directly from MetaQuotes and runs the trading server. White labels and grey labels sit underneath a main label and depend on its agreement. “Main label” is a market term, not a MetaQuotes product name: MetaQuotes sells MT5 as Entry, Standard and Enterprise licences. - [MetaTrader Web API](https://fxup.net/glossary/metatrader-web-api/): The MetaTrader Web API is MetaQuotes’ server-side interface for connecting a MetaTrader 5 trade server to a broker’s websites and company systems, such as a CRM, client portal, payment flow or custom trading front end. It logs in with a manager account and works by request and response; it does not connect liquidity providers. - [MT5 White Label](https://fxup.net/glossary/mt5-white-label/): An MT5 white label is a MetaTrader 5 brokerage set-up in which a company holding a MetaQuotes server licence provides another company with a branded MT5 environment under its agreement. The white label broker has its own name on the terminals, its own clients and trading conditions; the server and the MetaQuotes contract remain with the licence holder. - [PAMM Account](https://fxup.net/glossary/pamm-account/): A PAMM account (percentage allocation money management) is a managed account structure in which investors allocate funds to a money manager who trades them as one pool. Profits and losses are split in proportion to each investor’s share, and the manager earns a performance or management fee. The broker runs the system that tracks allocations, calculates fees and processes deposits and withdrawals. - [White Label Trading Platform](https://fxup.net/glossary/white-label-trading-platform/): A white label trading platform is trading software built and maintained by a technology provider that a broker launches under its own name, logo and domain. It usually includes a web terminal, mobile apps, a client portal and a back office connected to a trading server. Clients see the broker’s brand; the provider runs the technology behind it. ## Grey Label - [MT5 Grey Label](https://fxup.net/metatrader5-grey-label/): An MT5 grey label is a brokerage set up inside another company’s licensed MetaTrader 5 server: you get your own client groups and your brand on the WebTrader, mobile apps, CRM and client portal, while the MT5 server licence stays with the provider. It is an industry term, not a MetaQuotes product, and with FXUP it typically goes live in about one to two weeks. - [White Label vs Grey Label](https://fxup.net/white-label-vs-grey-label/): White label vs grey label comes down to control. An MT5 white label is a dedicated, branded environment under a licence holder’s MetaQuotes agreement, with your own symbols, groups and conditions. An MT5 grey label is a brokerage set up inside another company’s licensed server: you get your own client groups and brand on the front ends, while the server licence stays with the provider. - [Grey Label vs IB](https://fxup.net/grey-label-vs-introducing-broker/): The difference between a grey label and an introducing broker is ownership of the client relationship. An introducing broker refers clients to another broker’s brand and earns rebates. An MT5 grey label is a brokerage set up inside another company’s licensed MetaTrader 5 server: you get your own client groups and your brand on the WebTrader, mobile apps, CRM and client portal, while the MT5 server licence stays with the provider. - [Grey Label Providers](https://fxup.net/mt5-grey-label-providers/): Choosing an MT5 grey label provider comes down to five checks: who holds the MT5 server licence your groups sit on, whether that agreement allows your type of business, what Manager rights you get, whose name is on client agreements and app listings, and whether you can export your clients’ MT5 accounts and history if you leave. - [MT4 Grey Label](https://fxup.net/mt4-grey-label/): An MT4 grey label in 2026 can only be space on an existing MetaTrader 4 server that a licensee bought before MetaQuotes stopped selling MT4 licences. MetaQuotes states that MT4 licences “are no longer available for purchase”, so any MT4 grey label depends entirely on someone else’s legacy licence. Most new brokerages choose an MT5 grey label instead. - [Grey Label Cost](https://fxup.net/mt5-grey-label-cost/): MT5 grey label cost in 2026 has no official price. It is set by each provider and depends on scope (front ends, CRM, client groups), the commercial model (flat monthly fee or revenue share), the provider’s own MetaQuotes licence tier and the contract terms. MetaQuotes publishes no prices. Ask FXUP and we will send current figures for your setup. ## White Label - [MT5 White Label](https://fxup.net/metatrader5-white-label/): An MT5 white label is a brokerage set-up in which a company that holds a MetaTrader 5 server licence from MetaQuotes gives you a branded MT5 platform under its agreement. You get your own brand, client terminals and trading conditions; the server licence stays with the provider. Availability for new brokers is gated by MetaQuotes’ due diligence and is decided case by case. - [MT5 White Label Providers](https://fxup.net/mt5-white-label-providers/): MT5 white label providers are companies that hold a MetaTrader 5 server licence from MetaQuotes, or work with a holder, and offer brokers a branded MT5 environment. Compare them on whose licence you sit under, server control, liquidity choice, data export and exit terms, contract fees and support, not on headline price alone. - [MT5 White Label Requirements](https://fxup.net/mt5-white-label-requirements/): MT5 white label requirements in 2026 are a registered company with financial-services business activities, verified directors and shareholders, proof of address and good standing, a domain in the company’s name, a corporate bank account with a bank reference, a compliant website and any licence your target markets require. MetaQuotes verifies the company before a white label is approved. - [MT5 White Label Alternatives](https://fxup.net/mt5-white-label-alternatives/): The main MT5 white label alternatives in 2026 are an MT5 grey label on a provider’s licensed server, your own MT5 licence from MetaQuotes, or a white label of another platform such as cTrader, Match-Trader, DXtrade or TradeLocker. A grey label is usually fastest; an own licence gives most control; another platform means asking clients to switch. - [MT5 Full Licence vs White Label](https://fxup.net/mt5-full-license-vs-white-label/): The difference between an MT5 full licence and a white label is who holds the MetaQuotes agreement. With a full licence (Entry, Standard or Enterprise) your company contracts with MetaQuotes and runs its own servers. With a white label, a licence holder runs the server and gives you a branded environment under its agreement. Full licence means more control, cost and responsibility. - [MetaQuotes White Label Policy](https://fxup.net/metaquotes-white-label-policy/): MetaQuotes white label policy in 2026 has no single public statement. Its corporate page says MetaTrader 5 “supports White Label licensing”, its licence page lists only Entry, Standard and Enterprise, and trade press reported in 2022 that new white labels were paused or tightly restricted. MT4 licences are no longer sold. Availability is decided case by case. - [MT4 White Label](https://fxup.net/metatrader4-white-label/): An MT4 white label is a branded MetaTrader 4 brokerage running on another company’s MT4 server licence. In 2026 MetaQuotes states that MT4 licences are no longer available for purchase, so any MT4 white label depends on an existing server that is already licensed. Availability is limited and case by case; most new brokerages now launch on MetaTrader 5. - [MT4 vs MT5 White Label](https://fxup.net/mt4-vs-mt5-white-label/): In the MT4 vs MT5 white label choice, MT5 wins for almost every new broker in 2026. MetaQuotes no longer sells MT4 licences, so MT4 white labels exist only on servers licensed earlier, while MT5 is actively licensed and developed. MT5 also removes MT4’s caps of 512 account groups and 1,024 symbols, adds multi-asset support and offers hedging accounts for forex clients. - [MT5 White Label Cost](https://fxup.net/mt5-white-label-cost/): MT5 white label cost in 2026 has no official price. It is set by the provider and depends on whether a white label is available for your company, how much of the stack is included (front ends, CRM, liquidity, plugins), account capacity and contract terms. MetaQuotes publishes no price list. Ask FXUP and we will send current figures for your case. - [MT4 White Label Cost](https://fxup.net/mt4-white-label-cost/): MT4 white label cost in 2026 has no official price. MetaQuotes says MT4 licences are no longer available for purchase, so any MT4 white label is capacity on a server licensed years ago, priced by its holder. The cost depends on that host’s terms, prepayments, add-ons and how long the server will run. Ask FXUP and we will check availability and send current figures. ## Costs - [Technology Cost](https://fxup.net/forex-brokerage-technology-cost/): Forex brokerage technology cost depends mostly on the launch route: your own MT5 licence, a white label or a grey label. That choice decides who pays MetaQuotes, who runs servers and which costs land on you. Liquidity, bridge, CRM, WebTrader, mobile apps and plugins come on top. MetaQuotes publishes no price list, so ask FXUP for current figures for your setup. - [Forex CRM Cost](https://fxup.net/forex-crm-cost/): Forex CRM cost depends on the pricing model and your own numbers: active traders, staff seats, modules such as IB commissions or PAMM, integrations with payment and KYC providers, data migration and the MT5 connection. One-time onboarding is usually charged on top. Compare quotes line by line rather than by headline fee, and ask FXUP for current figures for your setup. ## MT5 APIs & Execution - [MT5 Web API](https://fxup.net/metatrader5-web-api/): The MetaTrader 5 Web API is MetaQuotes’ server-side interface for connecting an MT5 trade server to websites, CRMs and other company systems. An application logs in with a manager account and can manage users, balances, groups, symbols, orders, positions, deals, ticks and charts. It does not connect liquidity providers or stream an LP order book; those jobs belong to other MT5 APIs. - [MT5 Manager API](https://fxup.net/mt5-manager-api/): The MT5 Manager API is MetaQuotes’ library for building administration and management tools — even a complete manager terminal — that act on a MetaTrader 5 server with manager rights. The Web API does similar account and trade work over the network for websites and CRMs, while the Server API runs plugins inside the trade server itself. - [MT5 Gateway API](https://fxup.net/mt5-gateway-api/): The MT5 Gateway API is MetaQuotes’ toolkit for connecting a MetaTrader 5 platform to external trading systems — liquidity providers, exchanges and other platforms — and for creating custom data feeds. A gateway built with it brings prices into MT5 and sends client orders out for execution, following the routing rules the broker sets. - [MT5 Liquidity Bridge](https://fxup.net/mt5-liquidity-bridge/): An MT5 liquidity bridge is third-party software that sits between a broker’s MetaTrader server and one or more liquidity providers, aggregating their prices and routing client orders to them under A-book, B-book or hybrid rules. A native MT5 gateway connects one venue from inside the platform, and Ultency is MetaQuotes’ own built-in aggregation and matching engine. - [Forex Price Feed](https://fxup.net/forex-price-feed/): A forex price feed is the stream of bid and ask quotes a broker receives from liquidity providers or data vendors. On MetaTrader 5 the feed arrives through a gateway, a bridge or Ultency, is aggregated and filtered, has the broker’s spread markup applied in the symbol settings, and is then delivered to clients’ terminals, web platforms and apps. - [A-Book, B-Book & Hybrid](https://fxup.net/a-book-b-book-hybrid-execution/): In A-book execution a broker passes client orders to a liquidity provider and earns a markup or commission; in B-book execution it keeps the other side of client trades and manages the risk itself. Hybrid execution combines both using rules on client group, order size, symbol and exposure, configured on MT5 through a gateway, a bridge or Ultency. ## MT5 & Forex Licensing - [MT5 Licence](https://fxup.net/mt5-license/): An MT5 licence is a software agreement between MetaQuotes and your company that lets you run your own MetaTrader 5 server. MetaQuotes sells it in three tiers by real-account capacity: Entry (1,000), Standard (25,000) and Enterprise (200,000). Applicants need a registered company with brokerage activities, a bank account, a compliant website and verified owners. MetaQuotes alone decides. - [MetaQuotes Requirements](https://fxup.net/metaquotes-mt5-requirements/): MetaQuotes MT5 requirements cover five things: a registered company whose activities include brokerage or trading in financial instruments; corporate documents showing directors and beneficial owners; proof of registered and physical address; a corporate bank account at a licensed bank; and a live website on a company-owned domain with registration number, addresses, risk disclosures and restricted countries. Owners then complete identity checks. - [Licence Jurisdictions](https://fxup.net/forex-license-jurisdictions/): Forex licence jurisdictions fall into four tiers: onshore tier-1 regulators such as CySEC, the UAE regulators and South Africa’s FSCA; regulated offshore centres such as Mauritius, the Bahamas and Seychelles; island-level offshore licences in the Comoros, whose validity the Comoros central bank disputes; and places with no forex licence at all, such as Saint Lucia and St Vincent. Recognition and substance rise together. - [Mauritius Licence](https://fxup.net/mauritius-forex-license/): A Mauritius forex licence is usually an Investment Dealer licence from the Financial Services Commission under the Securities Act 2005, most often in the Full Service Dealer excluding Underwriting category, held by a company with a Global Business Licence. Expect two Mauritius-resident directors, a management company, a compliance officer, MLRO and deputy MLRO and an approved auditor. The FSC publishes no fixed overall timeline. - [Bahamas Licence](https://fxup.net/bahamas-forex-license/): A Bahamas forex licence is a registration with the Securities Commission of The Bahamas (SCB) to carry on capital markets business under the Securities Industry Act 2024 (in force 29 July 2024). CFD brokers also register under the Securities Industry (Contracts for Differences) Rules, 2020, with a CEO, compliance officer, CFD supervisory officer and registered representatives and local presence. The SCB’s service standard for initial registration is a decision within 21 business days of a complete file and fee. - [Comoros (Mwali) Licence](https://fxup.net/comoros-mwali-forex-license/): A Comoros Mwali forex licence is an international brokerage licence issued by the Mwali International Services Authority (MISA) on the island of Mohéli, usually to a Mwali international company and without local staff. The Central Bank of the Comoros disputes it: communiqués of 15 June 2022 and 8 December 2025 say MISA is not recognised and that no forex “Brokerage License” has been authorised. - [St Lucia Company for MT5](https://fxup.net/st-lucia-company-mt5/): A St Lucia company for MT5 is a Saint Lucia international business company (IBC) formed with brokerage or trading objects, usually supported by a legal opinion, and used as the applicant for a MetaQuotes MT5 licence. Saint Lucia does not license forex: its registry says so, and the FSRA warns that forex businesses claiming its authorisation are misleading. The IBC is a company, never a licence. ## Solutions - [Start a Forex Brokerage](https://fxup.net/start-forex-brokerage/): To start a forex brokerage in 2026, choose your business model (A-book, B-book or hybrid), then a licence route for your target clients, form the company and open banking, pick a MetaTrader 5 route (own licence, white label or grey label), connect liquidity, payment providers and a CRM with KYC, and launch compliant marketing. Expect weeks for technology and months for licensing. - [New Forex Broker](https://fxup.net/solutions/new-forex-broker/): A turnkey forex broker solution is a packaged MT5 set-up for a new brokerage: platform access through a grey label, white label or your own licence, a branded WebTrader and mobile apps, a broker CRM with KYC and payments, and liquidity connectivity, delivered by one provider. With FXUP a grey label launch typically takes about one to two weeks, a white label about two to four. - [Prop Trading Firm](https://fxup.net/solutions/prop-trading-firm/): A white label platform for prop trading firms is a ready-made stack, usually a trading platform such as MetaTrader 5 plus a challenge engine, trader dashboard, CRM and payout tools, run under the prop firm’s own brand. To start a prop firm on MT5, first confirm who holds the MT5 licence and that it permits prop accounts, then set rules, payments, KYC and payouts. - [Crypto CFD Broker](https://fxup.net/solutions/crypto-cfd-broker/): A crypto CFD broker offers contracts for difference on cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ether, settled in cash on a platform like MetaTrader 5, without holding coins for clients. Rules vary sharply: the UK has banned crypto derivatives for retail clients since 6 January 2021, while EU national measures cap retail leverage at 2:1. Check each target market before launch. - [MT4 to MT5 Migration](https://fxup.net/solutions/migrate-mt4-to-mt5/): An MT4 to MT5 migration for brokers moves client accounts, balances, history, groups, symbols and integrations from a MetaTrader 4 server to MetaTrader 5, usually over a planned weekend cutover. The business side decides account types (hedging or netting), trading conditions, the cutover model, client and IB communication, and how Expert Advisors are handled. MetaQuotes no longer sells MT4 licences. ## Regions - [Europe](https://fxup.net/forex-broker-solutions-europe/): Forex broker solutions for Europe are the trading platform, CRM and client front ends configured to the rules of an EU or UK licence. Under ESMA-derived measures, retail CFD leverage runs from 30:1 on major currency pairs down to 2:1 on crypto, with a 50% margin close-out and negative balance protection per account. The licence comes from the regulator; the technology only enforces it. - [Middle East](https://fxup.net/forex-broker-solutions-middle-east/): Forex broker solutions for the Middle East combine a licence route — DFSA in the DIFC, FSRA in ADGM or the federal Capital Market Authority, which replaced the SCA on 1 January 2026 — with an MT5 set-up that handles retail margin rules, swap-free accounts and Arabic right-to-left front ends. FXUP supplies the technology; the licence stays your responsibility. - [Africa](https://fxup.net/forex-broker-solutions-africa/): Forex broker solutions for Africa combine an MT5 setup (grey label, white label or your own licence) with an Android-first app, a CRM that handles local payment methods and KYC, and server settings that match the regulator. South Africa requires FSCA authorisation, Kenya licenses dealing and non-dealing online FX brokers through the CMA, and Nigeria’s SEC published draft rules on 1 September 2026. - [Latin America](https://fxup.net/forex-broker-solutions-latam/): Forex broker solutions for Latin America combine an MT5 platform, a CRM, Spanish and Portuguese front ends and local payment methods with a licence strategy that matches each country. Brazil’s CVM says no CFD or forex offer is registered with it, and Mexican authorities do not license retail forex brokers, so the licence and target-country decision comes before the technology build. - [Southeast Asia](https://fxup.net/forex-broker-solutions-southeast-asia/): Forex broker solutions for Southeast Asia combine an MT5 server route (grey label, white label or your own licence), a branded WebTrader and mobile apps, a CRM with KYC and payment flows, and liquidity. The hard part is regulation: Thailand and Vietnam do not license retail FX platforms, Malaysia restricts dealing with residents, and Indonesia moved FX derivatives to Bank Indonesia in January 2025. ## Guides - [Technology Stack](https://fxup.net/forex-broker-technology-stack/): A forex broker technology stack is the set of connected systems a brokerage runs on: the MT5 trading server, liquidity and bridge, CRM and client portal, KYC and AML, payment providers, WebTrader and mobile apps, risk and reporting, and hosting and security. Each layer talks to the trading server through a defined API, and the stack only works when balances, accounts and orders stay in sync across all of them. - [Best Forex CRM](https://fxup.net/best-forex-crm/): The best forex CRM is the one that fits your trading platform, your payment and KYC providers, your IB structure and your budget, and proves it in a demo on your own data. Compare vendors on MT5 integration, KYC workflow, payments, multi-level IB commissions, reporting, security certification, migration and exit terms, using facts from their own pages rather than rankings. - [Copy Trading Regulation](https://fxup.net/copy-trading-regulation/): Yes, copy trading is regulated in the EU and UK. ESMA’s 2023 supervisory briefing and the FCA both treat automatic copy trading as portfolio management, which needs that specific authorisation; if clients must confirm each trade, investment advice or order transmission rules apply instead. Brokers must also handle inducements, disclosures, suitability and copied traders’ competence. Outside Europe it depends on the regulator. Not legal advice. - [App Store Approval](https://fxup.net/forex-trading-app-store-approval/): Forex trading app store approval depends on who submits the app and what they can prove. Apple’s guideline 3.2.1(viii) expects trading apps to be submitted by the financial institution offering the service, with the necessary licensing where the app is available. Google Play requires a financial features declaration and a link between the developer account and the licence. Both expect a company developer account. - [MT4 to MT5 Migration Checklist](https://fxup.net/mt4-to-mt5-migration-checklist/): An MT4 to MT5 migration checklist for brokers covers ten phases: audit, account groups, symbols, balances and history, Expert Advisors (MQL4 to MQL5), IB structures, liquidity and CRM, client communication, a weekend cutover with rollback, and decommissioning MT4. Most forex clients move to MT5 hedging accounts so positions behave as they did on MT4.
