FXUP is a consulting and technology firm for forex and CFD brokers. We set up MT5 grey label and white label brokerages, build branded WebTrader and mobile trading apps, supply our own broker CRM or a partner CRM, run liquidity integrations, and handle MetaQuotes requirements for companies that want their own MT5 licence. FXUP is independent and not affiliated with MetaQuotes; every project is quoted individually.
What does FXUP actually do for a broker?
FXUP builds and runs the technology a forex or CFD brokerage needs between the MetaTrader 5 server and the client. In practice that means the trading front ends your clients use — a branded WebTrader and iOS and Android apps — and the back office your team works in: a broker CRM, payment and KYC flows, introducing broker commissions and the liquidity connections that price and execute trades.
Most of the companies that contact us are at one of three points. Some are introducing brokers or regional sales teams who want their own brand without buying a server licence; for them an MT5 grey label is usually the shortest route. Some want more control over symbols, groups and trading conditions and look at an MT5 white label. A growing number want to hold their own MetaQuotes licence, which starts with a company, a licence route and an application to MetaQuotes; we cover that in our own MT5 licence section.
We do not sell trading accounts to the public and we are not a broker. Our clients are the brokers, prop firms and fintech teams that put their own name on the platform.
Grey label, white label or your own MT5 licence: which one fits?
The right route depends on how quickly you need to launch, how much control you need over the server and how much you are prepared to manage yourself. The table below is a simplified comparison; each route has its own detailed guide, and White label vs grey label puts the first two side by side.
| MT5 grey label | MT5 white label | Own MT5 licence | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who holds the MT5 server licence | The provider | The provider (under its MetaQuotes agreement) | Your company |
| What you control | Your client groups, brand and front ends | A dedicated environment, symbols, groups and conditions | Everything, including server configuration |
| Typical time to launch with FXUP | About 1–2 weeks | About 2–4 weeks | Depends on the licence and MetaQuotes review |
| Best suited to | New brands, IBs moving to their own brokerage | Established teams that need their own setup | Regulated or well-funded brokers planning for the long term |
Is MetaQuotes still issuing MT5 white labels in 2026?
It is no longer straightforward. MetaQuotes’ current broker page for MetaTrader 5 describes three licence types — Entry, Standard and Enterprise — and does not mention white labels at all, and trade press and several providers reported in 2022 that MetaQuotes had tightened the conditions and stopped approving many new white labels. White label arrangements still exist through some licensees, so we treat every request case by case and check the current position before we promise anything.
MT4 is different. MetaQuotes states on the MetaTrader 4 website that new MT4 licences are no longer available for purchase. If you specifically need MT4, write to us and we will check what is possible for your case, but most new projects start on MetaTrader 5. Our MetaQuotes white label policy guide collects the primary sources with dates.
“The MetaTrader 4 trading platform licenses are no longer available for purchase.”
How does a typical FXUP project run?
A project usually takes the same shape whether you start on a grey label or connect our front ends to your own server. We agree the scope in writing first, so that you know what you are getting, when and on what terms.
- First conversationYou tell us your target markets, expected number of clients, liquidity plans and any licence you already hold. WhatsApp, Telegram or email all work.
- Written proposalWe reply with the recommended route, the components included, a timeline and commercial terms.
- Setup and brandingServer groups, symbols and trading conditions are configured; your logo, colours and domain are applied to the WebTrader, apps and CRM.
- Testing with your teamYour staff place test trades, run KYC and payment flows and check reports before any client is onboarded.
- Launch and supportClients go live; we stay on the same channels for changes, new symbols and growth to the next stage.
Can I see the platform before I commit?
Yes. The WebTrader demo and the mobile app demo run on the same code we deploy for brokers, connected to a real MetaTrader 5 demo environment. You can open charts, place demo orders, change the interface language and see how positions, pending orders and history behave.
When you are ready, send us a message with the name and colours you have in mind. We can show you how your brand would look before you sign.
Who is behind FXUP?
FXUP is a team of developers and broker-operations specialists working on MetaTrader 5 infrastructure since 2023. We write our own trading front ends and server components, which is why we can change them quickly for a client and why we are careful about what we promise. You can read more on our about page or simply ask us directly.
