The best forex CRM is the one that fits your trading platform, your payment and KYC providers, your IB structure and your budget, and proves it in a demo on your own data. Compare vendors on MT5 integration, KYC workflow, payments, multi-level IB commissions, reporting, security certification, migration and exit terms, using facts from their own pages rather than rankings.
What is the best forex CRM for a broker?
There is no single best forex CRM; there is the one that fits your brokerage. A start-up grey label broker with 150 clients and two introducing brokers needs something quite different from a regulated broker with five payment providers, a compliance team and twenty thousand accounts across MT5 and cTrader. A CRM that is right for one would be expensive overkill or a painful bottleneck for the other.
So this guide does not rank. It gives you the criteria that matter, a table of what several well-known vendors publish about themselves, and a demo script that exposes the differences no feature list shows. If you want the background first, our page on forex CRM software explains what a broker CRM does and how it connects to MT5.
How did we compare forex CRM vendors?
We used only what each vendor states on its own website, checked on 12 October 2026, and quoted claims as published. We did not use review sites, award lists or vendor rankings, and we did not test the products ourselves for this page. Where a vendor’s page was unclear, we say so rather than fill the gap.
That method has limits. Vendors describe themselves favourably, and a claim on a homepage is not the same as a feature that works in your setup. Treat the table as a starting shortlist, not a verdict. We have left prices out on purpose: list prices change, rarely include setup, onboarding or integration work, and are a poor guide to what you will actually pay.
Forex CRM comparison table (October 2026)
The table lists published facts for four vendors that appear often in broker searches, plus FXUP. Inclusion is not endorsement, and omission says nothing about vendors we did not list.
| Vendor | Platforms named on its site | Other published claims |
|---|---|---|
| B2Broker (B2CORE) | MT4, MT5, cTrader, DXtrade, Match Trader, TradeLocker, B2Trader and others | “150+ ready integrations”; IB module with “Infinity level referral program” |
| FXBO | MT4, MT5, Match-Trader, cTrader, Devexperts, X Open Hub, Condor | ISO 27001:2022; “500+ current integrations”; “Over 400 payment systems connected” |
| CurrentDesk | MetaTrader 4/5 and cTrader servers | ISO 27001:2022; automated multi-tier IB commissions |
| Syntellicore | MT4, MT5, Match-Trader, DXtrade, cTrader, among others | Built-in KYC claim; Sumsub and Trulioo integrations; “Unlimited sub-IB depth” |
| FXUP | MetaTrader 5 | Own CRM covering onboarding, KYC, payments, IB commissions, MT5 sync, reports, roles and audit trail; also works with partner CRMs; branded WebTrader and apps on the same MT5 accounts |
What do the vendors’ own pages tell you, and what do they leave out?
Reading the pages side by side is useful mainly for what it reveals about each vendor’s focus. A few observations, all from the pages themselves.
B2Broker B2CORE
Names many platforms beyond MT5 and puts its integration count and referral programme up front. If you run more than one platform, ask which of them are supported natively and which need extra work.
FXBO
Publishes ISO 27001:2022 certification and very large integration and payment-system counts. Ask which of those integrations you would actually use, and whether they are live or only available on request.
CurrentDesk
Names MetaTrader 4/5 and cTrader servers, publishes ISO 27001 certification and leads on automated multi-tier IB commissions. Ask how its modules are packaged, because add-ons change the scope of a quote.
Syntellicore
Claims built-in KYC with Sumsub and Trulioo integrations, and shows two different integration counts (182 and “120+”) on the same page. Ask for a written list of the integrations that apply to you.
Which criteria matter most when choosing a forex CRM?
Eight criteria cover almost every decision we have seen go well or badly. The weighting depends on your business, but skipping any of them tends to cost money later.
| Criterion | Why it matters | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| MT5 integration | Accounts, balances and trades must stay in sync with the server | Which MT5 API it uses, what happens if MT5 is unreachable, how long sync takes |
| KYC and AML workflow | Your regulator will ask how each client was approved | Vendor integrations, manual review queue, evidence stored per client |
| Payments | Money errors are the most expensive errors | Your providers supported, duplicate notification handling, approval rules |
| IB commissions | Partners leave if payouts are wrong or late | Multi-level trees, per-lot and percentage plans, recalculation on corrections |
| Reporting | Finance, compliance and management all need numbers | Raw data export, filters by country and partner, scheduled reports |
| Security and roles | Client data and money need controlled access | Role permissions, approval limits, audit log, certifications such as ISO 27001 |
| Migration | Most brokers move CRM at least once | Import tools for clients, documents, IB trees and payment history |
| Exit terms | You may leave one day | Data export format, notice period, cost of export |
Which forex CRM fits which type of broker?
Start from your business model rather than the vendor list. The broad patterns below are our view from projects, not a rule.
- New grey label broker. Speed and price matter most. A CRM bundled with the platform setup, or an entry tier priced per active trader, avoids paying for capacity you will not use for a year.
- Regulated broker. Compliance evidence and audit trail come first, followed by certification and data residency. Expect to pay for enterprise features and plan longer onboarding.
- IB-driven broker. Multi-level commission plans, partner portals and fast, accurate payouts outweigh almost everything else.
- Multi-platform broker. If you run MT5 alongside cTrader or another platform, native support for each matters more than any single feature.
- Prop trading firm. Challenge accounts, rule checks and payouts are a different workflow; see our prop trading technology page.
- Copy trading or PAMM offering. Check whether the CRM manages investor and manager accounts or relies on a separate copy trading platform.
What must any MT5 forex CRM handle well?
Whatever the vendor, five MT5-specific jobs have to work without staff intervention. First, opening accounts in the right group with the right leverage and currency, through the MT5 Manager API or the MetaTrader 5 Web API, using access granted by whoever holds the server licence. On an MT5 grey label that is your provider, so confirm the CRM can connect before you sign either contract.
Second, balance operations: every approved deposit and withdrawal must change the MT5 balance exactly once, with a status your finance team can see. Third, trade data for commissions: closed deals have to flow into the IB module reliably, including corrections, so introducing brokers are paid what they are owed. Fourth, verification records that a compliance officer can show to a regulator, covered in our KYC and AML glossary entry. Fifth, server time: MT5 timestamps deals in the trade server’s own time zone, and reports that mix it with UTC produce daily totals that do not match the server.
A vendor that handles these five quietly will save you more time than one with a longer feature list. Ask to see each of them working on an MT5 demo server during the trial.
How should I run a forex CRM selection?
Treat it as a short project with a fixed end date. Most selections drag because nobody wrote down what the CRM must do before the demos started.
- Write your must-havesOne page: platforms, payment and KYC providers, IB structure, number of staff and clients, reports you need.
- Shortlist three vendorsUse the table and criteria above. More than three demos rarely adds information.
- Run the same demo scriptAsk every vendor the same questions, below, and note the answers in one sheet.
- Test on your dataAsk for a trial connected to an MT5 demo server with your groups and a real IB plan.
- Get written quotesMonthly fee, setup, modules, integrations, migration and exit terms, all in writing.
- Check references yourselfAsk for a broker you can speak to with a similar setup, and ask them about support response times.
What questions should I ask in a forex CRM demo?
Ask to be shown, not told. These fifteen questions cover the areas where products differ most in practice.
- Show me a new client going from registration to a funded MT5 account.
- Which MT5 API do you use, and what happens if the server is unreachable during account opening?
- Show me a withdrawal from request to MT5 balance change, including the approval step.
- What happens if a payment provider sends the same notification twice?
- Which of my payment providers and KYC vendors are already integrated?
- Show me a three-level IB tree and how a commission is calculated on one trade.
- How are commissions corrected if a trade is cancelled or adjusted?
- Can I export raw data for deposits, withdrawals, volumes and IB payouts?
- Who can see and change what? Show me the role settings and the audit log.
- Which security certifications do you hold, and can I see the certificate?
- Where is client data hosted, and can I choose the region?
- How do you import clients, documents and IB trees from my current CRM?
- Does the client portal run on my domain with my brand?
- What is the support response time, and through which channels?
- If we part ways, how do I get my data out, in what format and at what cost?
What drives the cost of a forex CRM?
The cost of a forex CRM is driven by four things: how many clients and staff use it, which modules you switch on, how much integration work your providers need, and how the contract handles setup, migration and exit. Two brokers can sign with the same vendor and pay very different amounts because one needs a new payment provider integrated and the other does not.
Pricing models differ too. Some vendors charge by active traders, some by manager seats, some by modules, and some add fees linked to deposits. None of these is wrong, but each rewards a different kind of broker, so model your own year-one numbers against each structure before you compare. If you want current figures for our CRM or a partner CRM for your setup, message us on WhatsApp and we will send them.
| Cost driver | Why it moves the price | What to ask the vendor |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing basis | Active traders, manager seats, modules or deposit-linked fees each scale differently | What I will pay at my year-one and year-two client numbers |
| Modules | IB, PAMM/MAM, copy trading, mobile app or extra platforms are often priced separately | Which modules the quote includes and which are add-ons |
| Integrations | A payment or KYC provider not already supported means custom work | Which of my providers are live today, and who pays for the rest |
| Setup and onboarding | Configuration, branding, groups and training take time | Whether setup is one-off, included or charged separately |
| Data migration | Importing clients, documents, IB trees and payment history is real work | What is imported, how it is checked and what it costs |
| Hosting and region | Dedicated hosting or a specific data region can change the plan | Where data sits and whether a region choice changes the price |
| Support level | Faster response or a named contact often sits in a higher tier | Response times by channel and hours |
| Exit | A paid or slow export is a cost you only see at the end | Export format, notice period and any charge |
What is usually left out of a forex CRM quote?
The lines most often left out are setup and onboarding, data migration, integrations with providers the vendor does not already support, and the cost of leaving. A quote that shows only a monthly figure is not wrong, but it is incomplete, and the missing lines tend to appear in the first month.
Compare quotes line by line rather than total by total. Write the same rows for every vendor, using the cost-driver table above, and mark each one as included, extra or unknown. The “unknown” cells are your questions for the next call. If you already have quotes, we are happy to go through them with you and point out the gaps, including where our own CRM or one of our partner CRMs would not be the better choice.
What are the most common mistakes when choosing a forex CRM?
They are almost always about scope and contracts rather than features.
Buying on the feature list
Every vendor ticks every box. Only a demo on your own MT5 data shows how the boxes behave.
Ignoring your payment providers
A CRM without your providers means custom integration work, or changing providers.
Forgetting the exit
Data export terms are easy to negotiate before signing and hard afterwards.
Choosing for year three
An enterprise tier on day one pays for capacity you may never reach. Check how upgrades work instead.
Where does the FXUP CRM fit in this comparison?
We have our own broker CRM and also work with partner CRMs, and we propose whichever fits your brokerage. Ours is built for MetaTrader 5 brokers and covers onboarding, KYC, deposits and withdrawals, IB commissions and MT5 account sync, with reports, staff roles and an audit trail. Its main difference is that it shares the MT5 accounts with our branded WebTrader and mobile app, so the whole client-facing stack comes from one team. If you need several trading platforms beyond MT5 in one CRM, a multi-platform system may suit you better, and we would rather tell you that now and propose a partner CRM that fits.
FXUP is independent and not affiliated with MetaQuotes or any vendor named on this page. For what drives the price, see our forex CRM cost guide. If you already have quotes, send them to us on WhatsApp and we will point out what each one leaves out, including where ours would not be the right fit.
